On Thursday May 5, 2022, Legacy Brokers co-hosted the 1st Annual Mental Wellness Expo with KVC Health Systems.
The COVID-19 pandemic has forever changed our workplaces and homes. While we’ve found more flexibility, a new poll shows that Americans are experiencing greater stress than ever before due to the pandemic, money concerns, the war in Ukraine, and increased smartphone and social media use. Depression, anxiety, and suicide rates are rising among both teens and adults. Attendees listened to a panel discussion centered on addressing the mental wellness challenges we face in our new environment. Emphasis was placed on how to support mental health for yourself, your family, and your employees, as well as what mental health resources are available to help in that support.
